Equity policy

The Conference is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment in which all participants can participate fully and respectfully. The following principles apply to all delegates, Executive Board members, Secretariat members, faculty advisors, volunteers, and guests.
  1. 01

    All participants shall be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability, socioeconomic background, or any other personal characteristic.

    Discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation, or exclusionary behavior in any form is strictly prohibited.

  3. 03

    All participants shall have equal opportunities to participate in committee proceedings, regardless of experience, background, delegation, or position.

  4. 04

    The Executive Board shall ensure that speaking opportunities, motions, and procedural decisions are handled fairly and in accordance with the Rules of Procedure.

    Participants are expected to respect different perspectives, cultures, identities, and opinions. Disagreement shall not be used as a basis for personal attacks or exclusion.

  6. 06

    The Conference will make reasonable efforts to accommodate participants with accessibility or other legitimate needs. Participants requiring accommodations are encouraged to inform the Secretariat in advance.

  7. 07

    No participant shall face retaliation for raising a genuine concern, reporting misconduct, or requesting reasonable accommodation.

  8. 08

    Participants may report concerns regarding discrimination, harassment, accessibility, or unequal treatment to the Secretariat. All concerns will be handled with appropriate discretion and seriousness.

  9. 09

    The Secretariat reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this Equity Policy, including warnings, removal from activities, or dismissal from the Conference.

    By participating in the Conference, all attendees agree to uphold these principles and contribute to an environment based on equality, inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.

  11. 11

    Any damages done to the school property will result in a fine, and delegates will be expected to pay up for it.

  12. 12

    No intoxications, or illegal substances shall be allowed.

  13. 13

    The management will have the right to check your identification cards at any given time. It is mandatory for all delegates to bring their smart cards/school cards/ ID cards. (Identification cards to be kept throughout the conference).
